Angular (Sieve) Calibration

Data taken with sieve on both arm:

  • dp scan 0%~-4%
  • Full coverage with -10%
  • With both Ta target, carbon foils
  • Raster on and off for raster correction
LHRS Sieve
RHRS Sieve

Momentum Calibration

Data taken with sieve on both arm:

  • dp scan 0%~-4%
  • Ta target, carbon foils
  • With both Ta target, carbon foils
  • Raster on and off for raster correction

dp is well reconstructed sicne HRSs are focusing spectrumeters.

LHRS Momentum Deviation for a dp=~0% run
RHRS Momentum Deviation for a dp=~0% run

Vertex Calibration Data

Data taken with sieve out for Ta target (~0cm) and 3 Carbon foils (-15cm, -7.5cm, 15cm).

LHRS vz stripe (react z:tg_ph). Database is online calibrated
RHRS vz stripe (react z:tg_ph). Using 6 degree super conducting septum database

LHRS VZ stripe for Ta target run 1806. It's replayed with 6 degree super conducting septum database + online calibration. Each strip is one carbon foils.
LHRS VZ stripe for Ta target run 1807. It's replayed with 6 degree super conducting septum database. The foils are not well separated. Further carlibration is required.

MISC

Beam calibration

After upstream bending magnets, beam position could be calibrated by BPMs centering carbon holes. Beam angle could be estimated by beam shift/magnet location.
